Place one Magnetic Hitchin' Rod® on the trailer hitch and one on the hitch ball. As you back the vehicle, visually align the two rods using your rearview mirror.

Keeping the two rods aligned, back up until the rod on the hitch-ball moves or is knocked off. Stop. You are now aligned!
